Are you ready to get on-board?

We are currently looking for a full time Class 3 Driver (Customer Service) for our Regina location. Our customer service oriented drivers deliver medical gas equipment to homecare patients and medical institutions by maintaining safe operation of company vehicle while providing outstanding customer service. The position may involve teaching customer’s set-up and testing of equipment. Monday to Friday, 40 hours/Week no shifts; possible overnight stay required.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures high level of customer service when delivering medical gas equipment.
• Establishes and maintains efficient delivery service of liquid Oxygen, cylinder medical gasses and respiratory equipment to patient’s residences and institutions
• Determines condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use
• Ensures correct loading of vehicle by identifying product requirements for the day and loading product of material with compliance with safety legislative requirements
• Maintains a safe vehicle, conditions and protects loads by complying with organization policies, procedures and highway rules & regulations
• Meets client’s goals and needs by delivering products accordingly to daily schedule and as committed
• Contributes to team effort by working with other members to achieve optimal client service
• Instructs clients in equipment operation and safety
• Appropriately completes documents as required for patient records and billing

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class 3 drivers license with air brake endorsement, clean drivers abstract
• Previous driving experience is required, ideally with Dangerous Goods (TDG)
• Customer service experience required
• Willing and able to obtain a criminal background check including Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Physically capable to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Must be safety conscious and a strong team member
• Strong organization, problem-solving and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to work independently
• Reliable, self-motivated and committed to high standards of service
• Ability to provide after hours service to clients by participating in shared on call rotational schedule

OVERVIEW

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• High school or GED equivalent; all post-secondary education is desired

• Minimum class 5 license required
• Willing to provide assistance to the right candidate to acquire their class 3 or 1 license, pending qualification

• 1 - 3 years oilfield experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for operating and maintaining all Chemical Cleaning equipment
• Inspect company vehicles, equipment and tools and report any deficiencies
• Inspect equipment, hoses, connections, pumps and work area prior to starting job
• Able to recognize and correct deficiencies pertaining to the job
• Assist in performing field safety and work documents before and after the job
• All other duties that may arise

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comply with Company policies and procedures, health and safety procedures, department of transportation and hazardous materials/waste requirements and regulations
• Assist operators during hydrovac operations
• Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
• Receptive to receiving task delegation and coaching from Hydrovac Operator and Supervisor
• Ensure customer and client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service at all times
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set time lines; this includes daily logs, dispatch and trip reports and time sheets
• Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Perform pre and post trip inspections, follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly and report any inefficiency to Supervisor
• Safely observe all company operating guidelines and procedures
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines

LOCATION

• This position will be based out of Rycroft, Alberta.

OVERVIEW

Vertex offers a modern, company owned and maintained, fleet of haulers, vacuum, hydro-vac, pressure, water and steam trucks capable of meeting all drilling, production, turnaround and completion needs of our clients.

Vertex is currently accepting applications for multiple full-time, permanent hydro-Vac Operators. The successful candidates must be an experienced hydro-vac operator and have valid oilfield safety tickets.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or higher education
• Valid Class 3 driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Minimum 2 years experience operating one or more of the following units: Hydrovac, Combo, Vacuum Truck or Pressure Truck
• Possess safety tickets including but not limited to First Aid/CPR, Construction Safety Training (CSTS), Ground Disturbance, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), Confined Space and H2S Alive
• Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
• Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
• Integrity and reliability, willing to accept after hour calls when necessary

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including: utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching, and digging
• Set-up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for hydro-vac operation
• Ensure customer and client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service at all times
• Complete daily scheduled services in a timely manner
• Operate hydro-vac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set time lines; this includes daily logs, dispatch and trip reports, demurrage and time sheets
• Perform pre and post trip inspections, follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly and report any inefficiency to Supervisor
• Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules
